Clarence Valley Council has called for nominations for its 2012 Living Sustainably Awards. These awards, which recognise outstanding contributions from Clarence Valley individuals and groups in all aspects of sustainability, were inaugurated in 2011.

There are four categories:
  •   Individual
  • Business
  • Community Group 
  •  School ( a new category this year)

Nominations, which can be by a third party or can be self-nominations, are due by 4.30 p.m. on Thursday 31 May 2012.

The awards will be judged by Council's Climate Change Advisory Committee and will be presented during Local Government Week (13-19 August 2012).
